What I love about Rishi’s speech here is that it shows what a generous and selfless guy he is … he doesn’t blather on and on about himself … he talks about his grandfather and then he talks about his son. So sweet.

Day 5 - A Song That Reminds You Of Someone:

Mera Laung Gawacha from Naagmani will always remind me of these three sisters that used to dance together when we were in our teens. They were super pretty and so cute dancing together, they totally inspired me and my sisters to dance together and even to switch spots so everyone got a turn in the middle, vs. my eldest sister always being the star which is what we used to do.

Day 4 - A Song You Like Walking To:

Khatooba from Ali Baba aur 40 Chor - featuring the fabulous Zeenat Aman & Asha Bhosle’s smooth vocals. I love this song! And I have an awesome remix of it on my iPod that really motivates me for when I need to walk somewhere FAST.

Yes but what kind of crazy?" "You know, like when Jeevan has stolen you away from Nirupa Roy when you were an infant. That kind.

Friend reminded me of this song this a.m. for my birthday knowing how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE Rishi Kapoor. He is so freakin’ charming in this. And way more compelling than SRK on top of a train for me. Okay, I know, Rishi is just in front of a back projection, but still. SWOOOOOOON. And he was sweaterlicious even back then.

Jidhar Dekhoon from Mahaan (1983), sung beautifully by Amitabh Bachchan himself. SOB!
